WVSA Announces 'E' Coaching Course

WV Soccer will be holding its first 'E' coaching course of the calendar year in Wheeling, WV at Ritchie Elementary School on the following dates and times:

Fri, Feb 10th from 6:00 to 8:30 pm
Sat, Feb 11th  from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm, 1:00 to 5:00 pm
Sun, Feb 12th from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm, 1:00 to 5:00 pm

The 'E' license course is an 18 hour course with two main objectives:

1.     To prepare coaches for training players U14 and younger by providing activities that enhance technical competence, while also addressing some tactical concepts.

2.     To provide a framework of understanding of appropriate coaching tools that will provide the players an enjoyable learning experience.

Coaching candidates will be expected to participate in all activities, demonstrate a basic grasp of the material presented, and to bring pen, paper, and a soccer ball to each session.  All sessions will be led by a member of the WVSA instructional staff.  

Cost for the course is $50.00.  

This certification is required for those coaches wishing to obtain a 'D' license in the future.
