We are excited to inform you that as a registered member of Marion County Soccer Club (MCSC) during the 2019-2020 Fall or Spring seasons, you are eligible to participate in additional league training sessions. These training sessions will be coached by Challenger Sports. Challenger's coaches are licensed professionals. The coaches are from Europe and have trained with European soccer academies throughout most of their lives.
There will be 8 training sessions. All of which will begin the week of March 30th and conclude at the end of May (or into June for weather make-up days). These training sessions will take place one day each week and will be on either Monday or Wednesday, based on the assigned day for your child's age group.
MCSC has subsidized the costs of these training sessions so that they can be offered to you at a very minimal fee. You can find your child's assigned training day and the associated fee at the registration link below.
This is the first of many new opportunities MCSC will be offering the members of your community over the next year. We have developed and are implementing a plan to provide community members with the opportunity to find the level of soccer that suites them, while staying home in Marion County.
We highly encourage registering for these training sessions if your player is looking for the next step to rec soccer.

Marion County Soccer Club
So many changes in 2020! Marion County Youth Soccer Association is pleased to announce that it will begin operating by the name Marion County Soccer Club. Due to the success of soccer in our community, we have started working with the West Virginia Soccer Association (WVSA) to expand the levels of soccer offered by our organization.
One of those expansions will be the addition of an adult soccer league in Marion County. WVSA has already helped many other WV leagues successfully implement adult programs. Our plan is to have this program up and running by Summer and/or Fall. As you can see, our new name allows us to operate all of our leagues with continuity by removing the distinction of "youth". This change also allows us to further align ourselves with the soccer community at large, which typically are referred to as "Clubs" rather than "Associations".
Please be assured, nothing will change as it relates to our entity. We will continue to function as a non-profit entity, which is administered by volunteers. Our youth programs will continue to be a primary emphasis and parents/players can expect the same great playing opportunities. These changes will simply allow our organization to broaden and further succeed in accomplishing its mission to further soccer in our community.
