Mentor Program
The MCSC referee mentorship program provides a opportunity for new referees to interact with veteran referees who are noted for possessing skills and knowledge that would be useful to those mentees. During the season, the mentor and mentee participate in matches and quality assessments. The Mentor serves as a guide, role model, colleague and expert to their Mentee. The Mentor guides the Mentee in the development of their skills.

- Enhance knowledge directly applicable to success
- Identify skills needed for upward mobility
- Develop a network of professionals
- Assist and offer training so that participants can become viable role models on and off the pitch
- Encourage and provide support for those new to the referee community
If you were selected as a mentor, here is what you need to know:
- The pay rate for a mentor is $17 per match.
- Do not sign up in the mentor slot if the match is not full (ie.. their is another available AR or R slot).
- Do not sign up in the mentor slot if there is another match you can sign up for at that same time that may be cancelled.
- This does not count toward doing a game for the incentives program.
- You will be required to fill out an online evaluation form during the match for each official.
- Please deliver your criticism with kindness and encouragement after the match.
