Recreation Soccer
Recreational Soccer (Rec) is typically the first step in a player’s soccer journey with Marion County Soccer Club. At the youngest levels, teams generally have one practice during the week and one game on Saturday. All activities for these age groups are held at local fields. Older age groups may occasionally travel to nearby communities to play other recreational teams.
Our recreational program is designed to help players develop a love for the game while learning the basic skills and understanding needed to grow as soccer players. All players receive equal playing time regardless of ability, and boys and girls of all appropriate ages and experience levels are encouraged to participate.
MCSC recreational teams participate in individual Spring and Fall seasons.
MCSC does not currently operate a travel soccer program and is not partnered or affiliated with any travel soccer club or program. Participation in MCSC recreational soccer is separate from any travel soccer organization.
