Recreation Soccer
Recreational Soccer (Rec) is typically the first step in MCSC's soccer development program. At the youngest levels, it usually consists of either a single game and practice on the weekend or a single practice during the week and a single game per week on Saturday. All rec activities at these levels are at local fields within town. The older age groups may travel to adjacent towns to play other rec teams.
This program is designed to foster the love of the game and give children a sense of the game and the initial skills that they will need to develop as young soccer players. All kids will share equal playing time regardless of ability. All boys and girls of appropriate ages are encouraged to play Rec as they begin their soccer careers. Rec seasons encompass only a single season (Spring or Fall).
